ANSI Sprite Studio

A small but complete asset tool: paint full-color terminal cells, edit keyed animation frames, tune their timing, onion-skin adjacent frames, and preview the result live.

Every edit is undoable and the exact animation round-trips through a portable JSON format. It exercises pointer-to-cell geometry, custom rendering, focus, keyboard commands, host clipboard writes, and dense stateful workflows without requiring a filesystem or network service.

Try it in this browser: drag across the cell canvas, press R to play your edit, then Ctrl+Z to undo the entire stroke. Copy JSON exports exactly what plays.

In a native POSIX terminal, the app sees Ctrl+Z first, and Fleury suspends it only when nothing handles the key. The undo binding is off while there is nothing to undo, so an extra Ctrl+Z suspends the studio when your shell started it; fg resumes it. See keys handled by the host.
